U.S. Military – Get Pregnant, Go to Jail?

Now if you follow my blog you know that I post a lot of odd, useful, and entertaining information that I find via the world wide web. In this case, I’m all for what this commander is trying to initiate. It’s simple… We go to Iraq, Afghanistan and even Kuwait (vacation) to serve because of the global war on terrorism, not to have sex, get pregnant, and shipped home. It’s that simple. Having sex should be the last thing on your mind. You are there to take care of business. Now I know I can take heat from those who are currently over seas. I’m sure you can say, “You have no idea what it’s like.” Well… After a while you just forget about the fact that there are no females around. I went to a real basic training. Ft. Knox, where the only “ladies” were between the ages of 45-65 serving government 65% soy burgers and government cheese. No, they don’t look good after a while. I’m not a sex addict therefore I didn’t even think twice about “doing them.” Bottom line: YOU ARE IN THE MILITARY. WORRY ABOUT COMING HOME FIRST, GETTING LAID LAST. Here is the full story…

A top US commander is threatening soldiers who fall pregnant on active service with jail.

Under the new policy, troops expecting a baby face court martial and a possible prison term – and so do the men who made them pregnant.

And the rule applies to married couples at war together, who are expected to make sure their love lives do not interfere with duty.

Usual US Army policy is to send pregnant soldiers home from combat zones within 14 days.

But Major General Anthony Cucolo, who runs US operations in northern Iraq, issued the new orders because he said he was losing too many women with critical skills.

He needed the threat of court martial and jail time as an extra deterrent, he said.

All troops under his command are covered by the extension to the military’s legal code – the first time the US Army has made pregnancy a punishable offence. Dailymail.co.uk
